Liapades House

If one wants to experience old world Corfu, this is the home to obtain. An old mansion house, offering security and perfect privacy within its secluded courtyard.

The house which consists of two floors, can be entered from two sides. In the ground floor there’s a living room, a dining room, a study, a kitchen, a second dining area and a WC. A beautiful bojo (traditional Corfiot outside staircase with terrace) leads to the second floor as well, apart from the staircase inside the house. Upstairs, there’s a beautiful library, two bedrooms, a second bathroom and a utility room. The house undertook a major renovation project during the 2000s. The garden comprises of various trees, including a grandiose cedar tree. A beautiful garden table can host wonderful family dinners under it. A barbeque area is to be found in the garden, as well as various storerooms and a closed garage. Last but not least, there is space for a private swimming pool to be created.

The house is situated 20 klm away from Corfu town, at the beautiful village Liapades, one of 830 protected traditional settlements in Greece, in the midst of Corfu’s countryside. It is also 2 klm away  from Gefira beach, maybe the most beautiful beach in Corfu. It is a perfect example of traditional Corfiot architecture of the higher class, and houses like that are difficult to find nowadays.
